Overview

At Journi Travel Accessories, we comply fully with UK consumer protection law. This policy explains your legal rights and our returns process for orders placed through our store.

Our products are fulfilled through third-party suppliers and are not personalised or custom-made to order by the customer.


UK Consumer Cancellation Rights (Statutory)

If you are a UK consumer, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right:

  • You must notify us of your decision to cancel within 14 days of delivery

  • Items must be returned in unused, unworn, and resaleable condition

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect

You may inspect the item as you would in a shop, but returns may be refused or reduced if the item shows signs of use beyond this.


Our Additional Returns Policy (Discretionary)

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer one additional discretionary return day.

  • We accept return requests up to 15 days from delivery

  • Day 15 is discretionary and subject to our approval

  • Requests made after the 14-day statutory period may be refused

All discretionary returns must meet the same condition requirements listed below.


Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return (statutory or discretionary), items must:

  • Be unused and unworn

  • Be in resaleable condition

  • Be returned with original packaging where reasonably possible

  • Include proof of purchase

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.


How to Request a Return

All returns must be requested by email.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Reason for return

  • Photos if the item is faulty or damaged

Do not send items back without contacting us first.
Unapproved returns may not be accepted or refunded.

If your return is approved, we will provide a UK return address and instructions.


Return Shipping Costs

  • Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items: We cover return shipping costs

  • Change-of-mind returns: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by law.


Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival.

If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at journitravel@outlook.com with supporting photos.

We will assess the issue and, at our discretion, offer:

  • A replacement, or

  • A refund

This does not affect your statutory rights.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

If you wish to exchange an item:

  • Return the original item in accordance with this policy

  • Place a new order separately once the return is approved


Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Items showing signs of use, wear, or misuse

  • Damage caused after delivery

  • Sale or clearance items

  • Gift cards


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days

  • Banks and payment providers may take additional time to reflect the refund

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us.
